A collision led to Grêmio Carvoeiro FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Cacá Fernandez hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Grêmio Carvoeiro FC defense, Zé Ruelas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marquinhos Rossi. The Grêmio Carvoeiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marquinhos Rossi should have stopped the shot. Zé Ruelas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marquinhos Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Ruelas in the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Grêmio Carvoeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Ruelas came free, but Marquinhos Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Zé Ruelas sped through Grêmio Carvoeiro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marquinhos Rossi. 24 minutes into the game, Zé Ruelas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Marquinhos Rossi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zé Ruelas scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marquinhos Rossi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Ruelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos Rossi having to interfere. Grêmio Carvoeiro FC's Marquinhos Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Ruelas in the 39th minute of play. Zé Ruelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marquinhos Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Barros in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chiquinho da Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Luís Fabiano Vidal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marquinhos Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Marquinhos Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Ruelas, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorian Amaral during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vixi FC booed when Grêmio Carvoeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grêmio Carvoeiro FC's Marquinhos Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Carvoeiro FC from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute of the match, Zé Ruelas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marquinhos Rossi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Chiquinho da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Matías Barros fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vixi FC's protests and gave Matías Barros a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Matías Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cacá Fernandez got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marcel Brodel. Marquinhos Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Garcia in the 83rd minute of play. Zé Ruelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marquinhos Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Ruelas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Ruelas in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marquinhos Rossi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Ruelas got free with Marquinhos Rossi in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marquinhos Rossi came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Vixi FC's Zé Ruelas. But to his dismay, Zé Ruelas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Vixi FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
