In the 9th match minute, Operario EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Lägdin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Mons Dragon made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Marquez in the 13th minute of play forced Radicals Girls's goalkeeper Faruk Talaykut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Antônio Carlos Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Hernani Marquez put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Faruk Talaykut. Operario EC's Mons Dragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dantel Ayllon in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Radicals Girls's Bernardo Romeo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Luiz Fabiano Rosado, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mons Dragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Fernandez in the 24th minute of the match. Radicals Girls were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Operario EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vítor Costa took the corner. The corner led Radicals Girls's Vítor Costa to fire away a dangerous shot which Mons Dragon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With an all-out effort, Radicals Girls's Mons Dragon threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dantel Ayllon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 33 minutes into the match, Operario EC's goal looked a bit too open when Allen Alexander came free, but Mons Dragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allen Alexander got free with Mons Dragon in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Operario EC's goalkeeper Mons Dragon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allen Alexander. Mons Dragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dantel Ayllon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Operario EC's Mons Dragon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Operario EC from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dantel Ayllon made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Hubert Lägdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mons Dragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubert Lägdin in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mons Dragon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mons Dragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dantel Ayllon in the 57th minute of play. With a little luck, Radicals Girls's Faruk Talaykut got control of the ball when Leopoldo Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mons Dragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dantel Ayllon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dantel Ayllon in the 70th minute of play forced Operario EC's goalkeeper Mons Dragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Operario EC's Antônio Carlos Toscano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Faruk Talaykut. Faruk Talaykut yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Caio Fernandez took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mons Dragon. Mons Dragon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some careless play in the Operario EC defense, Hubert Lägdin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mons Dragon. The Operario EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mons Dragon should have stopped the shot. Mons Dragon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dantel Ayllon's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Mons Dragon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hubert Lägdin went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute Antônio Carlos Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faruk Talaykut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Radicals Girls's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antônio Carlos Toscano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
