Zé Paulo Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th minute, Geraldo Peres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zaca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 19 minutes of play, Zaca FC's Tomé Trancoso made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Paulo Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Bruno Henrique notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Grêmio Carvoeiro FC's Zé Paulo Torres. Zé Paulo Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the game, Luan Trigo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Zé Paulo Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the game, Geraldo Peres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Zé Paulo Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the game, Luan Trigo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Zé Paulo Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zé Paulo Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Geraldo Peres took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Paulo Torres. Zé Paulo Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9.

The wind increased when Chiquinho da Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. Luís Fábio Varela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Luís Monteiro having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Nereo Bento took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Zé Paulo Torres to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Zaca FC's Nereo Bento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zé Paulo Torres. That made the score 0-12 after 58 minutes of play. Teodoro Tasso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Luís Monteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Grêmio Carvoeiro FC's Zé Paulo Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Carvoeiro FC from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the game, Nereo Bento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Zé Paulo Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th match minute, Grêmio Carvoeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Zaca FC's Luiz Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Doriva Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd match minute, Zaca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Henrique to maneuver through the defense. Zé Paulo Torres came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Zaca FC's Bruno Henrique. But to his dismay, Bruno Henrique quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. If Bruno Henrique had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Grêmio Carvoeiro FC's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Henrique. Luan Trigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Zé Paulo Torres made a huge save. Nereo Bento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zé Paulo Torres came out and tried to block the shot, but Nereo Bento slotted it home off the left post making it 0-15 in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute, Zaca FC's Bruno Henrique dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-16. In the 91st minute of the match, Geraldo Peres tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zé Paulo Torres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zé Paulo Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Henrique, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Luiz Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Zé Paulo Torres made a huge save. Zaca FC played a much better game than Grêmio Carvoeiro FC and deserved their victory. The Grêmio Carvoeiro FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
