After a rather tough play, MONTANHA's Gonçalo Matos got a free kick in the 4th minute. Benjamin Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo Martins in the 9th minute of play. Benjamin Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the game, Wei Guang Xing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Benjamin Sampaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gonçalo Matos struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Benjamin Sampaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MONTANHA. MONTANHA's Gonçalo Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamin Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 23rd minute. Benjamin Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Matos in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Cacá Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as MONTANHA's Murillo Martins slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamin Sampaio. That made the score 3-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 30th minute Czeslaw Walec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Murillo Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Sampaio was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 38 played minutes MONTANHA got a freekick which was hit by Roger Guerra. Jacinto Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andres van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandrinho Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murillo Martins was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Teodoro Peres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MONTANHA and the FairPlay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teodoro Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Benjamin Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonçalo Matos went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, FairPlay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Matos came free, but Benjamin Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fábio Aparecido hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FairPlay FC defense, Wei Guang Xing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Sampaio. The FairPlay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Sampaio should have stopped the shot. In the 67thth minute of the game Murillo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FairPlay FC's Benjamin Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FairPlay FC's Benjamin Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo Martins in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Walec cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Benjamin Sampaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jacinto Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. FairPlay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murillo Martins scored 8-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MONTANHA had played much better football throughout.
