The audience was convinced that João Adolfo Pimenta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Falcão was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 20thth minute of the game João Adolfo Pimenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caneleiros da Várzea's Raimundo Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Dagoberto Brasil made a precise shot to the right of Raimundo Falcão. Caneleiros da Várzea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Alan Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Adolfo Pimenta got in the 33rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Raimundo Falcão handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to SHIRO F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Claudinho Secco hit a great ball. The SHIRO F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when SHIRO F.C.'s Alan Ortiz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Adolfo Pimenta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, SHIRO F.C.'s Alan Ortiz made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Falcão was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 56 minutes, João Adolfo Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SHIRO F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but João Adolfo Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Adolfo Pimenta did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Raimundo Falcão 60 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, João Adolfo Pimenta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Falcão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. After a defensive mix-up in Caneleiros da Várzea's zone, João Adolfo Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Falcão came out of the goal and João Adolfo Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alan Ortiz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raimundo Falcão came out and tried to block the shot, but Alan Ortiz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 69th minute. In the 74th minute, João Adolfo Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alan Ortiz in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Falcão saved Caneleiros da Várzea from getting behind. Raimundo Falcão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 78 minutes in the game, João Adolfo Pimenta fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Raimundo Falcão having to interfere. Bernardo de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Romário Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Pimenta in the 85th minute of play forced Caneleiros da Várzea's goalkeeper Raimundo Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Ortiz came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raimundo Falcão could save by the left post. João Adolfo Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Raimundo Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Falcão was a little too slow when João Adolfo Pimenta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-8. SHIRO F.C. played a much better game than Caneleiros da Várzea and deserved their victory. The Caneleiros da Várzea players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
