The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 22 played minutes Caetite FC got a freekick which was hit by Atay Arpacıoğlu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severino Mangueira in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Renato Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Severino Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, Coelho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordi Puig to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Severino Mangueira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo Renato Novaes. That made the score 1-3 in the 73 minute of play. The supporters of Coelho FC booed when Caetite FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taco Ericsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Coelho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Mangueira came free, but Paulo Renato Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Atay Arpacıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caetite FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atay Arpacıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Coelho FC's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atay Arpacıoğlu. Paulo Renato Novaes made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Atay Arpacıoğlu sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivo Terra during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 90 minutes into the game, one of Coelho FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gino Vianna shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Valdo Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Coelho FC's Paulo Renato Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Coelho FC from getting a goal against them.
