The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Ique Football Club's Paulo José nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Domingues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. FairPlay FC's Pedro Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio da Costa in the 11th minute of play. Ique Football Club were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after FairPlay FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conrado de Salles took the corner. 14 minutes into the match, FairPlay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José came free, but Pedro Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Ique Football Club's Honrio Carretero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Domingues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Paulo José had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Ique Football Club's Nixon Richards nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Domingues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FairPlay FC's Pedro Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio da Costa in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Aloísio da Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Pedro Domingues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Domingues came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ique Football Club's Paulo José. But to his dismay, Paulo José quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After the first half Ique Football Club were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Aloísio da Costa struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Pedro Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ique Football Club. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind FairPlay FC's goalkeeper Pedro Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Ique Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé de Mendonça came free, but Dé Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ique Football Club's Aloísio da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ique Football Club made a substitution. Denílson Paulista replaced Nixon Richards. Pedro Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo José in the 65th minute of the match. Aloísio da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Aloísio da Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Domingues, 0-11. Aloísio da Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Domingues came out and tried to block the shot, but Aloísio da Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 77th minute. A collision led to FairPlay FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Elder Pirani hit a great ball. Pedro Domingues came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ique Football Club's Aloísio da Costa. But to his dismay, Aloísio da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Yaseen Bo Hamad took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Domingues. Pedro Domingues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. FairPlay FC's Pedro Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaseen Bo Hamad in the 92nd minute of play. Ique Football Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
