Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Valentim Leão made the kick off and thus started the match. Haroldo Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd match minute, Caneleiros da Várzea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 5 minutes, Xavi Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BAAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavi Hernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Caneleiros da Várzea's goal looked a bit too open when Valentim Leão came free, but Raimundo Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Valentim Leão sped through Caneleiros da Várzea's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raimundo Falcão. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caneleiros da Várzea's goalkeeper Raimundo Falcão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Valentim Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Falcão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Raimundo Falcão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentim Leão went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, Valentim Leão notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Caneleiros da Várzea's Raimundo Falcão. Raimundo Falcão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Valentim Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. During the 36th minute of the match Haroldo Alagoano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Haroldo Alagoano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Caneleiros da Várzea getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Haroldo Alagoano hit a great ball. Raimundo Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentim Leão in the 38th minute of play. If Valentim Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Caneleiros da Várzea got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Mangueira. The Caneleiros da Várzea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BAAS FC were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo de Lima to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Xavi Hernandez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Raimundo Falcão, passed just outside the right post. After some careless play in the Caneleiros da Várzea defense, Valentim Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Falcão. The Caneleiros da Várzea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Falcão should have stopped the shot. Caneleiros da Várzea's Raimundo Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentim Leão in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Valentim Leão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raimundo Falcão. The goal made the score 0-7. Jeremias Oliveira made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by BAAS FC's Xavi Hernandez. Xavi Hernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Caneleiros da Várzea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Caneleiros da Várzea's Raimundo Falcão got control of the ball when Valentim Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valentim Leão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raimundo Falcão came out and tried to block the shot, but Valentim Leão slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 76th minute. If Xavi Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BAAS FC's Valentim Leão was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 82nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Valentim Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Falcão having to interfere. Raimundo Falcão was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Valentim Leão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentim Leão really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. Valentim Leão scored 0-12 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Falcão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valentim Leão struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Raimundo Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BAAS FC. BAAS FC played a much better game than Caneleiros da Várzea and deserved their victory. The Caneleiros da Várzea players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
