In the 3rd minute, Igor Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cauan Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Oséias Falcão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Cauan Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the União Independente defense, Oséias Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cauan Lima. The União Independente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cauan Lima should have stopped the shot. Cauan Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cauan Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Lara in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, União Independente's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Botelho came free, but Cauan Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Oséias Falcão notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of União Independente's Cauan Lima. Cauan Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cauan Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Botelho in the 21st minute of play. Sílvio Sá's late challenge caught a Everest Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 23 minutes of play, Everest Futebol Clube's Oséias Falcão made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauan Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oséias Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute, Sílvio Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Mineiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulão Lara during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Everest Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Lara. 33 minutes into the match, Igor Mineiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauan Lima. União Independente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Mineiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Cláudio Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cláudio Botelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cláudio Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes, União Independente's Wágner Perez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeferson Fontes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in União Independente reached it. 38 minutes into the match, Igor Mineiro notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of União Independente's Cauan Lima. Cauan Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Igor Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Cauan Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Everest Futebol Clube. Everest Futebol Clube's Jeferson Fontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Everest Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-10.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basílio Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Cláudio Botelho put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Cauan Lima. With a little luck, União Independente's Cauan Lima got control of the ball when Paulão Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Everest Futebol Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Everest Futebol Clube's Jeferson Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Madureira in the 73rd minute of play. Jeferson Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Dieguinho Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Oséias Falcão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cauan Lima. That made the score 0-15 in the 81 minute of play. União Independente's Cauan Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Lara in the 86th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, União Independente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Negri to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Paulão Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauan Lima. The Everest Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-17. Everest Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
