Everest Futebol Clube's Cláudio Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ecep Sidabutar got free with Jeferson Fontes in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ignacy Zagrobelny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Internacional Paulista played a much better game than Everest Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Everest Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
