Internacional Paulista's Ignacy Zagrobelny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Seco in the 7th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Internacional Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Ibañez came free, but Ignacy Zagrobelny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Mariano Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Zagrobelny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Internacional Paulista's Váldson Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lauro de Moraes took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesar Godet. Cesar Godet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Ibañez made a kick off. Severino Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Ecep Sidabutar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internacional Paulista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ecep Sidabutar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacy Zagrobelny made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when 彭桦诚 sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Internacional Paulista booed when FERRARI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Ibañez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Zézinho Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Ibañez got free with Ignacy Zagrobelny in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Alberto de Carvalho hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ecep Sidabutar in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Godet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 彭桦诚 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacy Zagrobelny having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesar Godet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, FERRARI's goal looked a bit too open when Ecep Sidabutar came free, but Cesar Godet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecep Sidabutar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Internacional Paulista's Ignacy Zagrobelny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Internacional Paulista from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Internacional Paulista fans cheered their team off the field, for while FERRARI had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
