Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) União Independente's Basílio Cunha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Onur Candar got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Carmelo James kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Wágner Perez took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fabiano de Lima. Luiz Fabiano de Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 7th minute, Di Yuan Liang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sílvio Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Luiz Fabiano de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Di Yuan Liang in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cauan Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cauan Lima came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Di Yuan Liang. But to his dismay, Di Yuan Liang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 18th minute, Elder Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio Cunha hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Cauan Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Di Yuan Liang in the 21st minute of the match. Di Yuan Liang took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cauan Lima. Cauan Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 27th minute, Sebastian Zieba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pombal 2003 F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Di Yuan Liang in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cauan Lima saved União Independente from getting behind. Sydney Madureira hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Di Yuan Liang made a precise shot to the right of Cauan Lima. União Independente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Sebastian Zieba scored 1-6 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cauan Lima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cauan Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basílio Cunha's late challenge caught a Pombal 2003 F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basílio Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Di Yuan Liang to strike the kick off in the second half. Hermínio Moraes hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Di Yuan Liang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cauan Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Moraes in the 60th minute of play forced União Independente's goalkeeper Cauan Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64th play minutes Sebastian Zieba shot 1-7, a short shot which went by Cauan Lima and just under the crossbar into goal. Di Yuan Liang might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cauan Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Di Yuan Liang ran back to his position shaking his head. When Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Di Yuan Liang in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye União Independente's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Di Yuan Liang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but União Independente's Cauan Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the last second Cauan Lima throw himself and got hold of the ball when Di Yuan Liang in the 84thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Cauan Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Di Yuan Liang, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Cauan Lima was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Di Yuan Liang capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Di Yuan Liang really showed his touch with that goal: 1-9. Cauan Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Di Yuan Liang's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Pombal 2003 F.C. played a much better game than União Independente and deserved their victory. The União Independente players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
