The Febre Amarela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fernando Almeida should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Romero in the 8th minute of play forced Febre Amarela's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Xinosfreba 13 got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Dionísio. In the 17thth minute of the game Claudinho Romero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Febre Amarela's Luís Fernando Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frances Yeste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Cardoso in the 21st minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Luís Fernando Almeida came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Xinosfreba 13's Carlos Marcos. But to his dismay, Carlos Marcos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Xinosfreba 13 getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Breckenfeld hit a great ball. Frances Yeste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Peres in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Xinosfreba 13's Frances Yeste got control of the ball when Lenílson Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Febre Amarela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Xinosfreba 13 were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Romero to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 66th match minute, Xinosfreba 13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Romero to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lenílson Peres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frances Yeste was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Frances Yeste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenílson Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Xinosfreba 13 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
