Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Rômulo Vander successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson de Lima in the 8th minute of play. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson de Lima in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Jeferson Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Felipe Nerio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rômulo Vander. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Ripway's Wanderson de Lima got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Felipe Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gu Zhan Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Bertassi came free, but Gu Zhan Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Ripway's Wanderson de Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gu Zhan Wei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reinaldo Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gu Zhan Wei having to interfere. Pedrinho Gol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Botelho in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeferson Botelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgard Cosme made a great header on Ripway's corner, it was just that Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei managed to reach the ball for a save. After 53 minutes, Edgard Cosme made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 58 played minutes Academia Santista CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Rosado. Gu Zhan Wei was a little too slow when Wanderson de Lima got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-2. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Academia Santista CIMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute Felipe Nerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Armando Torres came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ripway fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Torres couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ripway getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Luís Eduardo Souto hit a great ball. In the 87th match minute, Academia Santista CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Ripway's Luís Eduardo Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Botelho came free, but Gu Zhan Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rômulo Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Gol in the 96th minute of the match. The Academia Santista CIMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ripway were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
