Noel Melo came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Santista CIMZ's Felipe Nerio. But to his dismay, Felipe Nerio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Felipe Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patro F C's Noel Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Nerio in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Mauro Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patro F C and the Academia Santista CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernando Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gu Zhan Wei having to interfere. Bruninho Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gu Zhan Wei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Cabral in the 51st minute of play. Noel Melo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Amílton Pereira sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Patro F C booed when Academia Santista CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edinho de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgílio Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Academia Santista CIMZ's Noel Melo threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felipe Nerio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 65th minute of the match Bernabe Herencia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gu Zhan Wei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruninho Moreira in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gu Zhan Wei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noel Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Academia Santista CIMZ were awarded a corner. Felipe Nerio went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Academia Santista CIMZ's corner Felipe Nerio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Noel Melo quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Nerio in the 73rd minute of play forced Patro F C's goalkeeper Noel Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Edinho de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Amílton Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Noel Melo made a huge save. Academia Santista CIMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
