The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Tanabi.E.C.'s goalkeeper Cléber Maciel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesinha Vides. If Cesinha Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Fernando Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Cesinha Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patro F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesinha Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cléber Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Gartxot Villacorta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tanabi.E.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Noel Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Sniegowski in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gartxot Villacorta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tanabi.E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gartxot Villacorta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Patro F C booed when Tanabi.E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kryspin Sniegowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noel Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gartxot Villacorta in the 31st minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Tanabi.E.C.'s Gartxot Villacorta made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baltazar Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Melo having to interfere. Noel Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Netto in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Baltazar Netto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tanabi.E.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Noel Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Netto in the 43rd minute of play. Noel Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gartxot Villacorta, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Patro F C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tanabi.E.C. were winning 0-3.
Patro F C's Noel Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Patro F C from getting a goal against them. Noel Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltazar Netto in the 55th minute. Noel Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gartxot Villacorta in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Gartxot Villacorta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Noel Melo. Gartxot Villacorta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Patro F C's Juan Diniz got a free kick in the 65th minute. Noel Melo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Tanabi.E.C.'s Baltazar Netto. But to his dismay, Baltazar Netto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 69th minute, Tanabi.E.C.'s Baltazar Netto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. When Sílvio Luís Dracena fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patro F C's protests and gave Sílvio Luís Dracena a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Patro F C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! A collision led to Tanabi.E.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Frederico Ferraz hit a great ball. Baltazar Netto succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. After some careless play in the Patro F C defense, Baltazar Netto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Melo. The Patro F C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Melo should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Patro F C's goalkeeper Noel Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Jurdan. 95 minutes into the match, Tanabi.E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Vargas came free, but Cléber Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanabi.E.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
