In the 25th minute, Porto Sul Football's Samuel Netto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chester Bennington. Chester Bennington yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. With a little luck, HollywooDogs's Chester Bennington got control of the ball when Hilario Sauveur tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Chester Bennington had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hilario Sauveur. 37 minutes into the match, Porto Sul Football's goal looked a bit too open when Barros Ramirez came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes Porto Sul Football's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gualterio Peter who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gualterio Peter got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Francesco Toldo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that César de Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chester Bennington was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. César de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. César de Moraes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chester Bennington came out and tried to block the shot, but César de Moraes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Chester Bennington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Netto in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the HollywooDogs defense, Samuel Netto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chester Bennington. The HollywooDogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chester Bennington should have stopped the shot. Zé Pedro Mineiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Francesco Toldo made a huge save. Chester Bennington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Sauveur, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. HollywooDogs's Chester Bennington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Netto in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of HollywooDogs booed when Porto Sul Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edinho Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball.
