Jimmy Örtendal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Tavares to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulrico Herzog got free with Yan do Valle in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermínio Paraibano's late challenge caught a Matanza and Steelers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermínio Paraibano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. The audience cheered when Jimmy Örtendal's long shot passed Yan do Valle's right side. It was 1-0, 14 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes Ubatuba got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Ambrosetti. Yan do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leysus Oktavianus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ubatuba's Yan do Valle got control of the ball when Gervaso Abenda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matanza and Steelers were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Ubatuba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jimmy Örtendal took the corner. Gervaso Abenda took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yan do Valle. Yan do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 39th match minute, Matanza and Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leysus Oktavianus to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Edvaldo Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viktor Ambrosetti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Matanza and Steelers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! 57 minutes into the game, Matanza and Steelers's Jimmy Örtendal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 61 minutes of play, Matanza and Steelers's Ulrico Herzog made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yan do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ubatuba's Yan do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Örtendal in the 65th minute of play. Viktor Ambrosetti kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Hermínio Paraibano hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ubatuba getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Hermínio Paraibano hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the game, one of Ubatuba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Matanza and Steelers a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jimmy Örtendal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ubatuba's Yan do Valle. 6-1. Yan do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the Ubatuba defense, Ulrico Herzog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan do Valle. The Ubatuba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan do Valle should have stopped the shot. César Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Yan do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, Matanza and Steelers's Wiliam Peixoto made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yan do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! When César Lucas came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Matanza and Steelers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Lucas couldn't finish the play. Ubatuba's Jiří Brázdil shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 100th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Renan Mendes but with some difficulty. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Matanza and Steelers fully deserved thier win.
