Luiz Paulo Pereira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. 12 minutes into the game, ECS FK's Asmund Rundkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 15 minutes into the game, Valdomiro Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ubatuba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ECS FK the free kick. Yan do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Browall in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute Emanuel Browall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ubatuba booed when ECS FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Browall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asmund Rundkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. Yan do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quade Gorham in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Edvaldo Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Browall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Yan do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game Asmund Rundkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ubatuba's Yan do Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quin Camaño stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valdomiro Barros was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quade Gorham got free with Yan do Valle in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Emanuel Browall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ECS FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Arturo Borubar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Ambrosetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as ECS FK's Emanuel Browall slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yan do Valle. That made the score 1-3 after 61 minutes of play. In the 66th match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Quin Camaño came free, but Yan do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ECS FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Quade Gorham in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, ECS FK's Emanuel Browall ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yan do Valle. Yan do Valle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After 81 played minutes Ubatuba got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Trevisan. A collision led to Ubatuba getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Edvaldo Trevisan hit a great ball. Cecilio Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Borubar having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Davis Damasceno made a precise shot to the right of Yan do Valle. Ubatuba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Emanuel Browall managed to get in a good position for a shot. ECS FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Browall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yan do Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
