Alfred Schrijns could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Eskil Vester made a huge save. After the first half October 04 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bert Karlsson made the kick off in the second half. Eskil Vester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bert Karlsson went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Romeu Tinoco hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Emilio Cascajares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Paredes Fortes made a huge save. Emilio Cascajares was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. October 04's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Emilio Cascajares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. October 04 made a substitution. Luís Fabiano Gaspar replaced Andrey Nazarov. October 04's Harvey Elliott was substituted for Claudinei Custódio. When Fellipe Valle came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save AKI CORINTHIANS from getting a goal against them. When Emilio Cascajares came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Cascajares couldn't finish the play. AKI CORINTHIANS were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after October 04's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alf Bålström took the corner.
