Artem Ustinov started the match with the kick off. Raimundo Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artem Ustinov in the 9th minute. Diamond Crown FC's João Vítor Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Vítor Pinho scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Couto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the last second Raimundo Couto throw himself and got hold of the ball when João Vítor Pinho in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 19th match minute, OLIMPIA SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Neto to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, João Vítor Pinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Raimundo Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermínio Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Vítor Pinho got free with Raimundo Couto in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29thth minute of the game João Vítor Pinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OLIMPIA SP's Raimundo Couto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of OLIMPIA SP booed when Diamond Crown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Tarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Andrézinho Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermínio Quadros during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Diamond Crown FC's Júlio Soares was substituted for Jerônimo Correia. In the 38th match minute, OLIMPIA SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Quadros to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Couto was a little too slow when João Vítor Pinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-0. Artem Ustinov's late challenge caught a OLIMPIA SP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artem Ustinov helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes Diamond Crown FC got a freekick which was hit by Artem Ustinov. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 54th minute, Luiz Eduardo Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Diamond Crown FC's Bernardo Aguayo got control of the ball when Alexandre Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrézinho Bittencourt might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Aguayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrézinho Bittencourt ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandre Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Diamond Crown FC booed when OLIMPIA SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Raimundo Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Vítor Pinho went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Raimundo Couto came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Diamond Crown FC's João Vítor Pinho. But to his dismay, João Vítor Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Bernardo Aguayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute João Vítor Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermínio Quadros hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Bernardo Aguayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Amaral in the 93rd minute. Diamond Crown FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
