A sloppy throw-in by Valdomiro Barros in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TAQUARI FC's Frank Lampard. If Kabiru Rotimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 12 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Vale came free, but Yan do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Wilton Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ubatuba booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Felin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan do Valle came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale. But to his dismay, Wilton Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Wilton Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TAQUARI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Frank Lampard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Yan do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to TAQUARI FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Chupan Doar hit a great ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Wilton Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ubatuba's Yan do Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Bernard Letourneau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TAQUARI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Letourneau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubatuba's Yan do Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Ubatuba from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilton Vale was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Wilton Vale notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Ubatuba's Yan do Valle. Yan do Valle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilton Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yan do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilton Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. If Wilton Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilton Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Yan do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ubatuba's zone, Ernani Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan do Valle came out of the goal and Ernani Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute Wilton Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilton Vale in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan do Valle saved Ubatuba from getting behind. 75 minutes into the game, Natã do Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ubatuba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TAQUARI FC the free kick. The supporters of TAQUARI FC booed when Ubatuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. TAQUARI FC's Erasmo Gaspar was substituted for Ernani Souto. TAQUARI FC made a substitution. Yoel Alfaro replaced Bernard Letourneau. The supporters of TAQUARI FC booed when Ubatuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Yan do Valle came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale. But to his dismay, Wilton Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Wilton Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ubatuba's Yan do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Vale in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jiří Brázdil to maneuver through the defense. Yan do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pabla Zuniga, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilton Vale in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan do Valle saved Ubatuba from getting behind. There was no doubt that TAQUARI FC were the better team. TAQUARI FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
