Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Machado in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betinho de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Betinho de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Machado in the 39th minute of the match. Felix Donciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anakoz Amer, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wen Yin Zhen to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Felix Donciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luizão Alagoano. The crowd rose to their feet as Anakoz Amer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Donciu. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Anakoz Amer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Felix Donciu made a huge save. Betinho de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Porto in the 67th minute of play. Werneck FC - DMZ's Luís Coutinho was substituted for Basílio Baiano. 79 minutes into the match, Anakoz Amer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felix Donciu, 1-3.
