With a little luck, Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Rogério Mello got control of the ball when Hubert Wallmark tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Alberto Massa might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Breno Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Alberto Massa ran back to his position shaking his head. After 17 minutes of play, Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Carlos Alberto Massa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldinho Queirós struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Rogério Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandinense ADF. 32 minutes into the game, Sandinense ADF's Hubert Wallmark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogério Mello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Carlos Alberto Massa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Breno Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Fonseca in the 38th minute of the match. Rogério Mello made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Hubert Wallmark sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Carlos Alberto Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Betinho Figueiredo in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Cícero Lopes. After 44 played minutes Nascidos Para Jogar F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cícero Lopes. Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Rogério Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Wallmark in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Carlos Alberto Massa made the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Massa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Breno Costa, 1-2. Rogério Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 86th minute Hubert Wallmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nascidos Para Jogar F.C getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Edgard Cordarrol hit a great ball. After 93 minutes of play, Sandinense ADF's Hubert Wallmark made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Mello was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Breno Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Alberto Massa. When the final whistle went the supporters of Nascidos Para Jogar F.C were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Sandinense ADF side.
