After a defensive mix-up in Werneck FC - DMZ's zone, Stefan Kjellqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Donciu came out of the goal and Stefan Kjellqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Zé Paulo Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorien Tros was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, Werneck FC - DMZ could leave the field as winners, despite A.S.Saint Ethiene having more of the ball for most of the match.
