A collision led to Bezerros EC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Kléber Paiva hit a great ball. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villarreal Ubach in the 9th minute of play. Claudinho do Vale scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Ceni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villarreal Ubach in the 14th minute of play. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willian Félix in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Willian Félix got free with Luiz Fernando Peixoto in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donato Ceresso hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villarreal Ubach in the 27th minute of play. Villarreal Ubach who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Luiz Fernando Peixoto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Hugo Zonta sent off a good shot on target. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho do Vale in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Villarreal Ubach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fernando Peixoto. Bezerros EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Villarreal Ubach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Villarreal Ubach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Villarreal Ubach to strike the kick off in the second half. Villarreal Ubach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Peixoto having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Claudinho do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bezerros EC and the Diamante Negro DK - VV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Claudinho do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Júlio Valladares quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Almir Freitas, made in the 70th minute of the game. If Claudinho do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamante Negro DK - VV made a substitution. Sidney de Queirós replaced Willian Félix. Luiz Fernando Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes Bezerros EC got a freekick which was hit by Almir Freitas. In the 80th minute, Wiliam Perez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diamante Negro DK - VV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Arantes in the 82nd minute of play. Bonifaco Elenes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Peixoto having to interfere. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Perez in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Diamante Negro DK - VV got a corner. Bezerros EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sidney de Queirós ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sidney de Queirós got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Fernando Peixoto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 95th minute, Wiliam Perez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diamante Negro DK - VV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Diamante Negro DK - VV had played much better football throughout.
