Spectators: 8033 (Terracing: 6025, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Prudencio Maju started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Spanta Praga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro de Souza to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Niceto Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caatiba MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Ihazintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davi Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davi Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ihazintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Maju came free, but Ergo Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th play minute Prudencio Maju came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ergo Muro. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Niceto Ihazintu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Davi Paraense. 19 minutes into the match, Spanta Praga's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ihazintu came free, but Davi Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Ihazintu in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi Paraense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Sharizan Soon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Niceto Ihazintu took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Davi Paraense. Davi Paraense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Bruninho Zanette came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ergo Muro could save by the left post. If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Davi Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Prudencio Maju who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sharizan Soon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ergo Muro made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Niceto Ihazintu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caatiba MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The Spanta Praga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Caatiba MZC were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niceto Ihazintu was the one to do the kick off. Niceto Ihazintu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Davi Paraense came out and tried to block the shot, but Niceto Ihazintu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 52nd minute. Ergo Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Maju in the 57th minute of play. Davi Paraense made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Niceto Ihazintu sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute Caatiba MZC were awarded a corner. Jorge Henrique went to the cornerflag to take it. Davi Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's Jorge Henrique sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davi Paraense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Spanta Praga got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Zanette. Spanta Praga's Agnaldo da Mata was substituted for Leandro de Souza. Spanta Praga's Hudson Melo was substituted for Eriberto Vergílio. After 77 played minutes Spanta Praga got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Zanette. Niceto Ihazintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Davi Paraense made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Richard Lopes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spanta Praga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Bruninho Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Lopes in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Prudencio Maju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spanta Praga's Davi Paraense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Spanta Praga from getting a goal against them. After 90 played minutes Spanta Praga got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Zanette. When the final whistle went the supporters of Caatiba MZC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Spanta Praga side.
