Bergamim F.C.'s Didi de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Perez in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute Willian Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Diamante Negro DK - VV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tassos Koutsoubos was slow to take the kick. During this time Bergamim F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 1-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Willian Félix elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tassos Koutsoubos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni got control of the ball when Tassos Koutsoubos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wiliam Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Didi de Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiliam Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Perez in the 37th minute of play forced Bergamim F.C.'s goalkeeper Didi de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Tadeu Esteves in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Diamante Negro DK - VV's Jerônimo Salles. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Peixoto in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiliam Perez was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Peixoto in the 51st minute of play forced Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiliam Perez got free with Didi de Moraes in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th match minute, Bergamim F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Wiliam Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Claudinei Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifaco Elenes came free in the 77th minute and tried to tip the ball over Didi de Moraes, but to the joy of Bergamim F.C.'s supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Bergamim F.C.'s Didi de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Bergamim F.C. from getting a goal against them. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lando Guazo in the 85th minute of play. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lando Guazo in the 89th minute of the match. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
