The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomiro Hitzeder during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 5 minutes into the game, one of Rolândia Esporte Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Raffael Quiroga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğaner Doğu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Christiano Aguiar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Raffael Quiroga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cambotinha EC were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Rolândia Esporte Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Falcão Novaes took the corner. A collision led to Rolândia Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gugu das Neves hit a great ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raffael Quiroga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Totte Spursø reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudinho Azevedo. The goal made the score 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Rolândia Esporte Clube made a substitution. Enio Duarte replaced Cleiton Braga. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Léo Souto was the one to do the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Léo Souto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rolândia Esporte Clube's Raffael Quiroga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Gaúcho. Francisco Queirós hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Valdemar Oliveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinho Azevedo skillfully saved the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Raffael Quiroga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
