The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karni Yair was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Karaboudjan's Jarbas Pimenta threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yuri Teixeira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
