Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Gaúcho to make the kick off. Austra 04 VFC's Hudson Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fotyo Tuliyski in the 52nd minute of play. After 56 played minutes Velho Barreiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Stelios Ciobica. The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Raúl Perez put in a rough tackle. Michel Siqueira walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Iker Hidalgo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Hudson Gaúcho had great luck who in the 68thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fotyo Tuliyski from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Hudson Gaúcho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fotyo Tuliyski went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Austra 04 VFC defense, Leonardo Gaúcho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hudson Gaúcho. The Austra 04 VFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hudson Gaúcho should have stopped the shot.
