Claudinho Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Negri in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğaner Doğu in the 9th minute of play forced Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Adilson de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Falcão Novaes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adilson de Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cambotinha EC's Claudinho Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Cambotinha EC from getting a goal against them. Adilson de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Novaes in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Claudinho Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrianinho Ramos. Maicon Abreu came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claudinho Azevedo could save by the left post. With his leg Claudinho Azevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Adrianinho Ramos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adilson de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Souto in the 38th minute of the match. When Cambotinha EC's Léo Souto in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Claudinho Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Felenak in the 40th minute of the match. Cambotinha EC's Claudinho Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Abreu in the 42nd minute of play. Claudinho Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Adrianinho Ramos sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th match minute, Red Dragon FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Paraíba to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maicon Abreu was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Santana in the 56th minute of play forced Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Adilson de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Doğaner Doğu. In the 59th minute Léo Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cambotinha EC the free kick. After 66 played minutes Red Dragon FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Robinho Toledo. Robinho Toledo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Claudinho Azevedo came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Maicon Abreu. But to his dismay, Maicon Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Adilson de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Léo Souto sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maicon Abreu in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinho Azevedo saved Cambotinha EC from getting behind. Maicon Abreu spun around in front of the goal 74 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Cambotinha EC's goal. Claudinho Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walker Fletcher in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Red Dragon FC - DMZ were awarded a corner. João Vítor Trevisan went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Leopold Davus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claudinho Azevedo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Eugênio Paraíba got a free kick in the 84th minute. Claudinho Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Ramos in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Alfredão Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cambotinha EC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Natanael Souto hit a great ball. In the 98th minute of the match João Vítor Trevisan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinho Azevedo skillfully saved the ball. The Cambotinha EC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cambotinha EC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
