When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, La Società Sport Osasco's Emil Wincek got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcelinho Abraão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Peixoto in the 32nd minute of play forced La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Samuel Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Aírton Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, CJ Lewandowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Società Sport Osasco's supporters rose to their feet, but CJ Lewandowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
