Karni Yair blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinho Azevedo having to make a save. 22 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo de Senna came free, but Claudinho Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Cambotinha EC's Alberto Talló seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alberto Talló the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cambotinha EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alberto Talló had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Alberto Talló kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Kellbom came free, but Claudinho Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Léo Souto to make the kick off.
