The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fanis Geronimidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hortêncio Mandrak's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Fanis Geronimidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Mandrak in the 7th minute of the match. With a little luck, Belotaurus FC's Fanis Geronimidis got control of the ball when Hortêncio Mandrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Osvaldo Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silviu Novac, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute, Silviu Novac made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldo Neto. EDI MZB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dennis Roelfs got free with Fanis Geronimidis in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, Belotaurus FC's Diego De La Vega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldo Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Hortêncio Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Diego De La Vega came free, but Osvaldo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doni Cordeiro went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 38 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Cordeiro came free, but Osvaldo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
After a rather tough play, EDI MZB's Delfim Chaves got a free kick in the 51st minute. EDI MZB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Doni Cordeiro scored to the left of an out of position Osvaldo Neto, making the score, 0-4. The supporters of EDI MZB booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego De La Vega didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Dennis Roelfs notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Belotaurus FC's Fanis Geronimidis. Fanis Geronimidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Doni Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Osvaldo Neto made a huge save. With a little luck, EDI MZB's Osvaldo Neto got control of the ball when Doni Cordeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Osvaldo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego De La Vega in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Mandrak in the 68th minute of play forced Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Fanis Geronimidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EDI MZB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nurkan Bayar in the 70th minute. A nice corner shot did that Nurkan Bayar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fanis Geronimidis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Hortêncio Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the EDI MZB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Mandrak couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego De La Vega during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Oséas Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Belotaurus FC defense, Hortêncio Mandrak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fanis Geronimidis. The Belotaurus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fanis Geronimidis should have stopped the shot. Fanis Geronimidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Osvaldo Neto managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Belotaurus FC's Silviu Novac fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 84 minutes into the game, Silviu Novac recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Osvaldo Neto. Silviu Novac showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. After a rather tough play, EDI MZB's Éder Passos got a free kick in the 86th minute. Hortêncio Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Fanis Geronimidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EDI MZB. In the 94th minute Diego De La Vega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of EDI MZB booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belotaurus FC played a much better game than EDI MZB and deserved their victory. The EDI MZB players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
