Thanks to some nice moves Caner Timurhan could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Silvestre Oro however easily saved by the left post. Primitivo Chorche succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. If Primitivo Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anaku Keren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rogelio Aurken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Edmundo Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos City and the Varadouro F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Varadouro F. C. booed when Santos City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Feliciano Fernanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anaku Keren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anaku Keren in the 23rd minute of play forced Santos City's goalkeeper Rogelio Aurken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Chorche in the 37th minute of play forced Santos City's goalkeeper Rogelio Aurken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséias Nascimento in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Aurken saved Santos City from getting behind. After having played for 47 minutes, Primitivo Chorche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varadouro F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Chorche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Varadouro F. C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Varadouro F. C.'s Gerard Pique got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Varadouro F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Koch came free, but Silvestre Oro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos City's Edmundo Ortiz got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Edmundo Ortiz off the ground. C.'s Primitivo Chorche got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute Silvinho Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Oro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Santos City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oséias Nascimento fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 81st minute, Válbson Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Anaku Keren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rogelio Aurken. That made the score 0-6 in the 84 minute of play. If Primitivo Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Santos City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Varadouro F. C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
