Faustão Proença showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 21st minute, Fausto Orlondon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute Bin Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Xandinho Sharkin hit a great ball. Xandinho Sharkin kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gurdurão's goalkeeper Natã Massa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Frederico de Amaral. 45 minutes into the match, Gurdurão's goal looked a bit too open when Bin Shevchenko came free, but Natã Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Gurdurão's Tião Moura was substituted for Fausto Orlondon. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bin Shevchenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Patrick Sandström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fábio Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 55 minutes into the match, Edvaldo de Toledo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natã Massa. Gurdurão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edvaldo de Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The audience was convinced that Bin Shevchenko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natã Massa was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The throw-in from Xandinho Sharkin in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gurdurão's Patrick Sandström. Gurdurão were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Blumenau Esporte Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elton Titos took the corner. 64 minutes into the match, Gurdurão's Faustão Proença sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fábio Leite narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Bin Shevchenko. Gurdurão made a substitution. Dalmo Santos replaced Evaristo Hurtado. Bin Shevchenko kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Proença in the 72nd minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Blumenau Esporte Clube's protests and gave Xandinho Sharkin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Xandinho Sharkin hit a great ball. Faustão Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Luiz Fábio Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gurdurão's Silvinho Mesquita was substituted for Faustão Proença. Luiz Fábio Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvinho Mesquita went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Gurdurão walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
