Jimmy Lundin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteve Hodei's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. João Augusto Barral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Duarte Mendes made a huge save. Skull Sport F.C's Jimmy Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Hodei in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Skull Sport F.C got a corner. AFC - Curitiba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raimundo da Silveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Bykowski in the 25th minute of play forced Skull Sport F.C's goalkeeper Jimmy Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Skull Sport F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Ortiz came free, but Jimmy Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Hodei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jimmy Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led Skull Sport F.C's Raimundo da Silveira to fire away a dangerous shot which Duarte Mendes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jimmy Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Hodei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFC - Curitiba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hermínio Alvarenga in the 48th minute. It was a well-played corner which Romário Ortiz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Levandowsky made a kick off. Duarte Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cui Xiang Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 60 played minutes AFC - Curitiba got a freekick which was hit by Matouš Carda. Robert Levandowsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Duarte Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, AFC - Curitiba's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Levandowsky came free, but Duarte Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match, Matouš Carda got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jimmy Lundin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Duarte Mendes came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Skull Sport F.C's João Augusto Barral. But to his dismay, João Augusto Barral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 76th minute, Rony de Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 86th minute, AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Esteve Hodei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jimmy Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Skull Sport F.C's Jimmy Lundin got control of the ball when Esteve Hodei tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Skull Sport F.C had played much better football throughout.
