Claudinei Linares started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, THANDERA® FCCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Proença to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Marquinhos de Lara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Duarte Mendes came out and tried to block the shot, but Marquinhos de Lara slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Duarte Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo José da Mata in the 19th minute of the match. AFC - Curitiba's Rômulo Negri got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rômulo Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Emanuel Van Hoeij tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Rômulo Negri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THANDERA® FCCMZ's Emanuel Van Hoeij was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Duarte Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos de Lara in the 31st minute of play. In the 41st minute Matouš Carda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Van Hoeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Marquinhos de Lara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Duarte Mendes, 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rômulo Negri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to THANDERA® FCCMZ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Paulo José da Mata hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes AFC - Curitiba got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Negri. Duarte Mendes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukas De Smet went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. THANDERA® FCCMZ's Emanuel Van Hoeij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rômulo Negri in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo José da Mata in the 63rd minute of play forced AFC - Curitiba's goalkeeper Duarte Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Marquinhos de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo José da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, THANDERA® FCCMZ's Paulo José da Mata got a free kick in the 79th minute. Marquinhos de Lara got in the 81st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Duarte Mendes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After some careless play in the AFC - Curitiba defense, Lukas De Smet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte Mendes. The AFC - Curitiba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte Mendes should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. THANDERA® FCCMZ had played much better football throughout.
