Cristiano Lago who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Nelsinho Alvarenga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gustavo Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taurus Assoc. de Futebol's Nelsinho Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Lago in the 10th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Nelsinho Alvarenga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 13th minute Cristiano Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Taurus Assoc. de Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Saúl Recalde came free, but Nelsinho Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
