With his leg Dário de Godoi managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Du Esporte Clube's Paulo-Eduardo do Nascimento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 12 minutes into the game, Paulo-Eduardo do Nascimento lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Dário de Godoi. In the 16th minute of the game 雷钢青 made a throw-in which Arnaldo Lizer played forward. In the 17th minute, Du Esporte Clube's Arnaldo Lizer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dário de Godoi. Dário de Godoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Du Esporte Clube's Paulo-Eduardo do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aracatiara EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulo-Eduardo do Nascimento 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Aaron Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Markus Pflüger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Arnaldo Lizer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Du Esporte Clube's Markus Pflüger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Shepherd in the 38th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Aracatiara EC's Aaron Shepherd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Pflüger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Shepherd to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Du Esporte Clube's Silvestre Claus made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dário de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Du Esporte Clube's Markus Pflüger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Shepherd in the 56th minute of play. Aaron Shepherd in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Markus Pflüger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aracatiara EC's Abel de Senna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Markus Pflüger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 73rd minute Aaron Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Pflüger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes Aracatiara EC got a freekick which was hit by Oséias de Lima. In the 79th minute, Aaron Shepherd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Pflüger was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Du Esporte Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Laércio Ceresso in the 89th minute. After taking down the ball on Du Esporte Clube's corner Laércio Ceresso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dário de Godoi quite easily take care of the ball. Silvestre Claus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário de Godoi having to make a save. Dário de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Claus in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Du Esporte Clube had won after a very even match.
