REMO - FDFDF's Carmelo Michael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquinho Pombal in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Amorim came free, but Lütfi Kutlubay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aílton Mineiro got free with Lütfi Kutlubay in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carmelo Michael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thibault Delanoë, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burak Onal's late challenge caught a REMO - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Burak Onal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Burak Onal got a free kick in the 19th minute. Chiquinho Pombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carmelo Michael having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Chiquinho Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's supporters rose to their feet, but Chiquinho Pombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Michael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Thibault Delanoë had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gottfrid Kjellbom took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lütfi Kutlubay. Lütfi Kutlubay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Zygmunt Rzegotka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chiquinho Pombal struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Carmelo Michael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chiquinho Pombal to make the kick off. The corner led to Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Israel Otsando getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lütfi Kutlubay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Carmelo Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibault Delanoë in the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chiquinho Pombal in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmelo Michael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zygmunt Rzegotka hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Vânderson de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Burak Onal suffered a concussion after 79 minutes and had to leave the field. 79 minutes into the game, Hugo Deleon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. REMO - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa the free kick. A collision led to REMO - FDFDF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. After 86 minutes REMO - FDFDF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thibault Delanoë who took care of the corner kick. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Richard da Fonseca was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carmelo Michael in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lütfi Kutlubay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottfrid Kjellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Carmelo Michael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thibault Delanoë in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Luciano Maciel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carmelo Michael. Luciano Maciel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The REMO - FDFDF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
