Gernando Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burak Onal in the 25th minute of the match. Thibault Delanoë's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gernando Guerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Pombal in the 27th minute of play forced A.F. Pindamonhangaba's goalkeeper Gernando Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Thibault Delanoë managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thibault Delanoë was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Pombal in the 34th minute of play forced A.F. Pindamonhangaba's goalkeeper Gernando Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Ian de Azevedo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ciriaco Lekubegi in the 35 minute of the game. Gernando Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Manfredo Pinho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luciano Maciel in the 40 minute of the game. Lütfi Kutlubay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Osasun in the 40th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luís Gustavo Cunha made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Gernando Guerra managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Chiquinho Pombal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lütfi Kutlubay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Osasun in the 55th minute of play. Lorenzo Osasun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.F. Pindamonhangaba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thibault Delanoë was slow to take the kick. During this time Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's corner Thibault Delanoë fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gernando Guerra quite easily take care of the ball. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Chiquinho Pombal scored to the left of an out of position Gernando Guerra, making the score, 1-1. In the 74thth minute of the game Luís Gustavo Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Lütfi Kutlubay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Lütfi Kutlubay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Osasun in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Thibault Delanoë managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thibault Delanoë was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Luciano Maciel in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Ronaldão Mineiro. In the 87th minute, Ulisses Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chiquinho Pombal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Gernando Guerra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luís Gustavo Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing A.F. Pindamonhangaba to leave the ground with a draw.
