In the 3rd minute Sebastian Bach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, AA GUARULHOS's goal looked a bit too open when Isa Günyol came free, but Carlinhos Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Finlay in the 13th minute of play forced Red John S.K's goalkeeper Cássio Corinth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Finlay might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cássio Corinth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remigio Finlay ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, AA GUARULHOS's Cássio Corinth threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Remigio Finlay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 25th minute, José Augusto Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Sebastian Bach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red John S.K fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 31 minutes of play, AA GUARULHOS's Remigio Finlay made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cássio Corinth was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Red John S.K's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Finlay came free, but Cássio Corinth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Denílson Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remigio Finlay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Red John S.K's goal looked a bit too open when Fletcher Greenan came free, but Cássio Corinth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red John S.K's Cássio Corinth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Finlay in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Jakue Llave threw the ball into play from the sideline. AA GUARULHOS's Aleksejs Vērīgais quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Isa Günyol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Bach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Bach got free with Carlinhos Freitas in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute of the match, Isa Günyol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlinhos Freitas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 88 minutes of play, AA GUARULHOS's Pablo Felip made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cássio Corinth was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlinhos Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Bach in the 93rd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
