The supporters of Leon Sport Club booed when Red John S.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Corinth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Massa in the 7th minute of play. When Gürel Ergünay came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Leon Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürel Ergünay couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Red John S.K's Caetano Arósio got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Red John S.K's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Loureiro came free, but Cássio Corinth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Valdo Prado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cássio Corinth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Red John S.K were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Leon Sport Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Denílson Lopes took the corner. Red John S.K's Denílson Lopes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Clóvis Reis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 28th minute Kléberson Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Corinth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red John S.K were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Leon Sport Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Denílson Lopes took the corner. The corner led Red John S.K's Denílson Lopes to fire away a dangerous shot which Clóvis Reis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gürel Ergünay hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ingvar Strand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Clóvis Reis made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Clóvis Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Strand. Ingvar Strand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clóvis Reis having to make a save. Clóvis Reis made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ingvar Strand sent off a good shot on target. Ingvar Strand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrey Kamishev hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingvar Strand to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Strand in the 51st minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Clóvis Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingvar Strand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clóvis Reis having to make a save. Clóvis Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Strand, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bach in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Red John S.K's Andrey Kamishev got a free kick in the 76th minute. Leon Sport Club's Davi Alexandridis was substituted for Giovanni Massa. Andrey Kamishev kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Sebastian Bach might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clóvis Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Bach ran back to his position shaking his head. Clóvis Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Bach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davi Alexandridis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Cássio Corinth made a huge save. Sebastian Bach might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clóvis Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Bach ran back to his position shaking his head. Clóvis Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Bach, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bach in the 86th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Leon Sport Club's Cássio Corinth threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wesley Sønck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Red John S.K's Cássio Corinth got control of the ball when Davi Alexandridis tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Bach in the 94th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Clóvis Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Chira. Leon Sport Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
