The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Raymundo Hasche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leon Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymundo Hasche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Vergílio in the 21st minute of play. When Raymundo Hasche came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Leon Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymundo Hasche couldn't finish the play. Dagoberto Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Jon Loarte notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Iron Maiden Football OFF's Dagoberto Vander. Dagoberto Vander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the game, Jon Loarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Dagoberto Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Massa in the 31st minute of play forced Iron Maiden Football OFF's goalkeeper Dagoberto Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raymundo Hasche took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dagoberto Vander. Dagoberto Vander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Kléberson Loureiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dagoberto Vander having to make a save. 43 minutes into the game, Leon Sport Club's Kléberson Loureiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dagoberto Vander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The wind increased when Miguel Bertassi made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Valdo Prado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dagoberto Vander. Valdo Prado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Giovanni Massa succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-9. Dagoberto Vander was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Giovanni Massa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Giovanni Massa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. In the 70th match minute, Iron Maiden Football OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo de Souza to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's Raymundo Hasche broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Giovanni Massas short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Dagoberto Vander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 75 minutes into the match, Valdo Prado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dagoberto Vander, 0-12. In the 78th minute, Valdo Prado made a precise shot to the right of Dagoberto Vander. Iron Maiden Football OFF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. 84 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden Football OFF's goalkeeper Dagoberto Vander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdo Prado. 85 minutes into the game, Valdo Prado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Dagoberto Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valdo Prado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Dagoberto Vander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kléberson Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Dagoberto Vander made a huge save. Dinei Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinei Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Iron Maiden Football OFF got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Faria. Dagoberto Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Sønck in the 92nd minute of play. Dagoberto Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Loureiro in the 93rd minute of the match. Dagoberto Vander made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Valdo Prado sent off a good shot on target.
