In the 4thth minute of the game Dedé Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Per-Olof Sikström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute Dedé Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorian Varela made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Messejana SportClub - DMZ's José Paulo Seco. Emílio Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bahattin Canpolat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Per-Olof Sikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Yuri Alberto got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Chen Zhen Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Mário Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Messejana SportClub - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emílio Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Veiga in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emílio Bittencourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Per-Olof Sikström got control of the ball when Dedé Prestes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mário Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Bittencourt having to interfere. Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Per-Olof Sikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Prestes in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Marcus Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes LUC1F3R R1S1NG got a freekick which was hit by Chen Zhen Liang. Emílio Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Messejana SportClub - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Prestes came free, but Per-Olof Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
