The audience thought a goal was coming when Natã Quintal got free with Genílson Sousa in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gonsalve Alabern made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luís Gustavo Botelho. Mateus Saraiva took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho de Salles. Valdo Diniz might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genílson Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdo Diniz ran back to his position shaking his head. AC Augustville succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Nova Venécia-ES had controlled the match.
