In the 4th minute, Geraldo Gonçalves made a precise shot to the right of Genílson Sousa. AC Augustville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to AC Augustville getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Mauro Dante hit a great ball. Balança Rede FC's Marcelinho Cearense couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AC Augustville. Rogério Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duda Velloso in the 13th minute of play. When Balança Rede FC's Mané Garrincha in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th match minute, Balança Rede FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto de Brito to maneuver through the defense. Rogério Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lech Banan in the 29th minute. Genílson Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto de Brito in the 30th minute of play. After 35 minutes of play, Balança Rede FC's Guto de Brito made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genílson Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lech Banan in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Velloso saved Balança Rede FC from getting behind. AC Augustville's Genílson Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Garrincha in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Augustville's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelinho Cearense was slow to take the kick. During this time Balança Rede FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Balança Rede FC's Marcelinho Cearense to fire away a dangerous shot which Genílson Sousa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, AC Augustville's goal looked a bit too open when Guto de Brito came free, but Genílson Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mané Garrincha to strike the kick off in the second half. Genílson Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Gonçalves in the 52nd minute of play. AC Augustville's Jeferson Torres was substituted for Poltak Pařil. AC Augustville's João Francisco do Nascimento was substituted for Noureddine Zaaf. When Geraldo Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Balança Rede FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geraldo Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. Mateus Saraiva took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Velloso. Rogério Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After 92 played minutes AC Augustville got a freekick which was hit by Fábio da Silva. Balança Rede FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
