The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Jairo Alcântara notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Galo do Cerrado's Vicente Barbosa. Vicente Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Augusto Motta took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Barbosa. Vicente Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Jairo Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Barbosa. Galo do Cerrado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 21 minutes into the match, Galo do Cerrado's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Alcântara came free, but Vicente Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Abreu in the 22nd minute of play forced Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Vicente Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doni Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Jairo Alcântara put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Vicente Barbosa. Vicente Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Motta in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Augusto Motta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Vicente Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vicente Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Marcos Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The tension between the Scotland Titans and the Galo do Cerrado players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Augusto Motta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scotland Titans fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jairo Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. Vicente Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doni Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Vânderson Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dida Azevedo went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Vicente Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Souto in the 60th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Doni Abreu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vicente Barbosa. That made the score 0-10 in the 63 minute of play. Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Augusto Motta 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-11. Vicente Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni Abreu in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Augusto Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Barbosa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Scotland Titans's Augusto Motta shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-12 in the ordered_time% minute. Vicente Barbosa came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Scotland Titans's Augusto Motta. But to his dismay, Augusto Motta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. Vicente Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betão Botelho in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes of play, Scotland Titans's Jairo Alcântara made it 0-15 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the game, Doni Abreu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicente Barbosa. Doni Abreu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-16. Galo do Cerrado's Vicente Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Alcântara in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes, Benjamin Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galo do Cerrado and the Scotland Titans players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Motta in the 97th minute of play forced Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Vicente Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Scotland Titans left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galo do Cerrado.
